The next second Vassy Courtes album will be environmentalist
Two years and a half since they launched "Rooted Time", Vassy Courtes are already working onto a second album recording sessions and, even they are still on "Retro Vintage" mood, this time the concept is environmentalism oriented with some songs and album's cover design that will make reference to the subject. Ivan Arellano, Vassy Courtes's press and communication manager, said to this media that the band front members (guitarist Messy Blues, keyboardist Oly Betancourt and bassist Hector Melgarejo) will release the album circa january of 2020 after their End of Year 2019 Tour promoting "Rooted Time" work.
As it is known, "Rooted Time" album was made between 2014 and 2017 with Oly Betancourt's lyrics and Messy Blues composing work oriented to cover several moods about Rock Music with 1950's, 1960's, 1970's and 1980's sound with several concepts such animal care ("Sammy" and "Pancha"), social activism ("In fire and Gasoline") and another topics like human challenges and love stories. Arellano also said that in this next job bassist Hector Melgarejo will work inside recording studio (and not replaced by Messy Blues like in "Rooted Time", in wich Messy recorded the bass and drums tracks, replacing bassist Gabriel Gavidia and drummer Javier Bojorge due they both weren't capable to work inside recording studio) but drums will be record by Messy Blues again. As known too, Gavidia was fired from the band two years ago and Bojorge left due a discussion with leader Messy Blues one year later.
Between another topics (such as love ballads, funny themes and other) the next recording work will address issues such Bees Preservation, Climate Change, Smog Pollution, Polar Meltdown and Animal Protection. Keyboardist Oly Betancourt is writing the lyrics and Messy Blues composing music.
